Default Clifford concept 300 remote start help?

Just got my scooby and unfortunately I have only one keyfob and no valet code but thats not the issue. I have figured out the intellistart is active but I cant figure out how to work it? If I keep the star pressed down the top left button the igntion fires up but from there what sequence actually starts it.

Before anyone asks the previous owner was elderly and had no idea this was actually working.

I'm pretty sure there is a special "activate" kind of sequence you need to do when shutting the car down to let it know the car isn't in gear. I'd google that process and see what that gets you. Same system will have the same sequence on all cars fitted. Only ones you don't need to do that faffing about is for an auto box.

The way I read it you just have to press the 'star' button (which doesn't help you......!).

Remote start isnt approved by Thatcham, so maybe it has been disabled ??

have a look at page 19 of manual (table of user-selectable features). In the middle of the grid there is a bit about 'Auto-start off/on.

Tbh I think I may have to visit an approved installer to get the valet code reset, get a new keyfob programmed and reset the remote start procedure so I can use it.

Quick update. Looks like I had it wrong, the actual clifford has a turbo timer which I was getting confused with the remote start. Boy do I feel like plum!
