New to the Scooby ! Exhaust advice!
few months ago I bought an old 1999 plate 2ltr AWD. insurance on the Turbo scared me .
The standard exhaust is been weedy so in a bit drunken state and eBay I many rash purchase
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2208724136...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
its not the best but for price quality is good .
its 2.25 on the bore but my car centre pipe appears much smaller possibly 1.8. would it be possible to use the centre pipe of the turbo of the simpler age with it 2.25.
thanks
Lee

It may have been altered in the past on the cheap. The only way you'll know for sure is when you get the old one off.
Is it just the back box you've bought or from the cat back?
If just the back box, the connecting pipe shouldn't be too much more.

I know it's more money but it would be my main consideration to do both at the same time.
As Jaygsi as said if the original is 2.25 you shouldn't have many worries about loss of black pressure.
And.... You'll save money in the long run with getting them both fitted at the same time. You might want to make sure the spring loaded bolts are included as these are prone to breaking and often replaced with standard bolts causing leaks in the system.

Have you not removed it yet?
I'd remove back box and try it, I've never come across a non turbo with less than 2.25 bore.
Also beware with that company bought things off them before, they list things incorrectly, as in that listing they have put
FITS
Subaru Impreza 1992 - 2006 all turbo and non turbo models
That's incorrect, will not fit any turbo Impreza as they have 2.5" bore not 2.25"
