Advice on my oil change please?
I have a 2008 STi hatchback and its being remapped next week, amongst changing the exhaust, fuel pump and spark plugs recommended by my mapper I wanted to do my oil change before aswell.
Can anyone recommend to me a good oil to use bearing in mind the remap is only a few days away.
Thanks in advance guys, any help would be highly appreciated!

Hi
A 5w-40 is ideal for that.

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul 300V, Red Line and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XF Longlife, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Gulf Formula G/ULE, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.
Cheers

Probably now allowed but I've currently got two 5 litre bottles of Shell Helix Ultra 5w 40 unopened and boxed ready to go. £40 for the pair. Obviously postage might be high due to weight but it's there if anyone wants it.
