What spec of cage are you after? Just a clubman type 6 point weld in or a full international spec spec multipoint one?

I think that when considering weld in cages, it's either cheap or good, due to the time it takes to fit one properly. The cheapest cage option is the bolt ins, but obviously they don't really stiffen the shell up like a weld in cage.

Of course, it all depends on what you consider cheap.. What's your budget?

ive got a bolt in cage in one of my cars and you have to weld in some plates for it to bolt onto. If im honest, i wouldnt get another bolt in cage. yes they are cheaper but a weld in cage if far superior. places like custom cages charge around 1k for a clubman cage welded in.

A long way from you but RED in Deeside are very good, they used to do alot of Msport work, A full cage in a scooby is about £2500. Dave Matthews in South Wales is good and cheap comared to others, i'm not sure how to get hold of him, he's in Newport if that helps.
It may be worth registering on the british rally forum and ask there?
Ive fitted a few and they are not an easy job.

Nickson Motorsport in Haslemere, Surrey, did mine, and the fit and welding is spot on (so close that the majority of the tie in points are done with just a weld bead, rather than gussets).

I paid around 1700, but it's a few years ago now (4?), so not sure of the prices now. Mine's also an MSA cage with a lot of additional bracing, so not quite an FIA spec, but still a decent cage.
