Default key fob

Evening guys. Random one. When replacing the battery in the key fob have you got to do it in so many seconds? It's a blob widetrack fob so one button in the key. Reason being mine has just decided to stop working. No warning. No battery getting low and keep pressing buttons etc it just died!!
TIA

There is a guy on ebay that replaces the internal switch for £20.

I got mine by return post.

Had similar problem when mine just stopped working. Changed the battery and still nothing. Took it to Subaru who just re synced it to the car.
