Default Classic rear quarter rust..help pls :(

Hey guys

Have a case of rear quarter rust and outer skin of the sills crumbling away and need recommendations on where I could get It cut out an new metal put in to a half decent standard but not have my pants pulled down..

I'm based in London but am willing to travel to surrounding counties if need be so Hertfordshire Berkshire Buckinghamshire are all good For the right job.

If anyone can recommend I'd really appreciate

Cheers

pretty common mate so dont worry to much, can be fixed

bad news is your only seeing the visible part, it comes through from behind so will be worse underneath

I rubbed mine back and treated it then resprayed it. Came back after 6 months, so really needs cutting out, going to try and cut it out myself then get local body shop to fit new metal and respray

they go from inside out, so if you only did the visible bit will always come back

Here is how bad it can be hidden away. Problem is all this can be there without you being able to see it until you cut into the panel.

I'm afraid it's a case of asking round.

I approached a few younger lads I know into the car scene, and took a recommendation from COB on here. Not many bodyshops now want to do fabrication work, and that's what this is.

Ask around, you'll find someone. THREE out of about thirty here were willing to quote.
