Default Turbo 2000 uk ecu code 22

Could anyone point me in right direction. Car threw code 22 and 24 tonight. Car not going as well, defo not boosting. I think 22 is a knock and 24 iac valve...sprayed wd40 on iac code went off...22 still remains...some reason rain water on top of engine entering from bonnet scoop....would this annoy the knock sensor and if so what should i do next.
Thanks in advance!!

If the sensors have just gotten wet then maybe just let them dry out, reset the ECU and see if the codes come back? If the codes persist then change the sensors. Start with knock as new ones are about £70 whereas the ICV is about £300. Ideally try known working sensors from other cars first or buy second hand ones to try... but you risk buying more faulty items as most second hand sensors sold have already had it.

Take the knock sensor off and clean it and the surface it bolts to, this usually cures it.

Had the knock sensor code come up on my classic plus it wouldn't boost etc. I removed mine and found tiny cracks on the black casing. Replaced it with one from eBay that cost £30 and it's been fine going on 2 years.
