Anyone know these springs?
Bit of a long shot I know but can anyone help identify these springs? They're on a set of STI struts I bought recently for my classic (rebuild thread coming). They have a blue coating on them and look to be the only springs that have been fitted to the shocks. There's no marks on any nuts etc to suggest they've been worked on.

Hi there
Not sure,if they're from import then I would say they're Cusco as Cusco color is blue usually,if its UK version, then I would say, they can be too Prodrive too, they're been blue
Only thing which I can suggest you measure them and then have look for measurements
Thanks,Jura

Thanks for the reply Jura. They came from a V5 Type R as far as I know. I had thought Prodrive but after looking at photos they seem a little different. It also seems that they have been fitted upside down. All photos I've seen appear to have the tighter coils at the top. I'll have a look at Cusco springs now.

You can't fit them upside down as the coil diameters are different top & bottom as the springs tappers over it's length, so they physically won't locate in the cups.
Different manufactures choose to have the tighter/closer or dead coils at the top or the bottom. This decision depends on the design and whether the desired rates require the active coils to be the larger or smaller diameters coils.

Hopefully, the prototype road/track spring set, for agx's, koni's and late bilsteins, will arrive a Eibach UK before they shutdown for Christmas.
The kyb inverted (P1) damper spring set, and a version (6mm lower front, than P1), for excel-g's, early bilsteins, agx's, koni's are ready to go into production. Just got to decide on the quantities of each spring set type - 25's, 50's or 100's.
