Default Fuel injectors.

Morning,
I am fitting a 1997 wrx engine into a 1997 uk turbo2000. Whilst I l have the engine out I'm going to change the injectors as it will be mapped as it has a full decat in it and equal length tubular headers fitted and I will be carrying out more mods in the future. My question is this, do I need top or side feed injectors? What are the differences between phase 1 and phase 2 injectors? Finally, as I don't have a huge budget I'm looking for a secondhand set, I'm thinking 440cc but what colour are these?
Thanks,
Andy.

Hi mate
You need side feed injectors...440's are yellow, not too sure what the difference is between phase 1 and 2 though.
You will need either phase 1 or 1.5,someone with more knowledge than me will be able to tell you which.
Or you could fit phase 2 with a set of adapters.
I have a set of phase 2 440's you could have cheap if you went down that route

Cheers for the replies. Do you want to me what you want for your 440's as I've seen adapter sets and what they cost.
What sort of power are 440's going to work up to?
Cheers,
Andy.

440s can be good for c.340bhp.

But allow for c.320bhp.

Cheapest and easiest thing to do is get phase 1/1.5 injectors. That's what I did for my 1997 UK Turbo. Should be around £50 for a set of four.
