Default Howling noise only at 60mph
Hi there I have a odd noise like a howling noise only at 60mph with only slightly touching the throttle as soon as I take my foot of the peddle or put more power on it goes.
I have a 2005 wrx (standard)

Thanks for the reply but wouldn't that do it at other speeds instead of just at 60mph

Mine only did it at circa 50-60 and it was pretty intermittent.

Mine did that when my turbo wasn't seated correctly, although was at higher speeds in high 4th or hard throttle in 5th

My Astra CDTi did it at 70 spot on....was the tyres.

Does it do it when your off boost at 60 when your just tootling up a dual track or does it only do it when your accelerating hard?

If I drive up to 60 and only slightly touch the pedal so the speed is only creeping up it makes the noise it does it in 3rd and 4th and 5th
