Default dash clocks

Hi there can the face lift dash clocks fit in the pre facelift surround if so how hard Is it to do??

Too messing to do it, considering the speedo drive on the prefacelift is mechanical and on the facelift its electric. Not worth the hassle

Mine is a pre facelift UK car and it's an electronic speedo.

Fairly sure they are different sizes/shape anyway! Not to mention all the wiring and plugs are different.

UK cars differ from the JDMs in that regard, still a lot of messing with the heater matrix and so on. I looked into it when I had my sti version 3 and gave up in the end

That they do. I had considered trying to put a facelift dash in my 97 UK car but nobody seems to have bothered with it so not much info out there. I did see the guy on here who's selling a type R shell with a newage dash in it!

I have a v3 sti and and v4. I.prefer the v3 complete dash but prefer the dash clocks on the v4 as in easier
to see etc hmm I thought it could be a royal pita.
