Cheers

Too messing to do it, considering the speedo drive on the prefacelift is mechanical and on the facelift its electric. Not worth the hassle

Mine is a pre facelift UK car and it's an electronic speedo.

Fairly sure they are different sizes/shape anyway! Not to mention all the wiring and plugs are different.

UK cars differ from the JDMs in that regard, still a lot of messing with the heater matrix and so on. I looked into it when I had my sti version 3 and gave up in the end

That they do. I had considered trying to put a facelift dash in my 97 UK car but nobody seems to have bothered with it so not much info out there. I did see the guy on here who's selling a type R shell with a newage dash in it!

I have a v3 sti and and v4. I.prefer the v3 complete dash but prefer the dash clocks on the v4 as in easier
to see etc hmm I thought it could be a royal pita.
