Just wondering how hard it is to change a standard fuel pump on a bug sti to a walboro? Is it a job for a mechanic? Any tips or advice please

Like busta says,is easy enough. I recently changed mine for a scoobyworx one. He is often doing a great group buy price on here for them. I used the new sock provided as it all fitted together very well.
I found the guide on the jolly green monster website very useful.

I feel the smaller sock will give you issues when cornering or running near empty etc.

Its best to use the standard sock as the smaller one is too small. Also a newage doesnt need any wiring done, it just plugs in.

Darrell from scoobyworx did say in one of his groupbuy threads that there would be no issues in fitting the sock that came with the pump. It is smaller but I have had no issues when cornering hard or when running the tank to almost empty
I bought the 290l
