Hyperflow FMIC
I have a hyperflow FMIC on my scooby. There was a small hole in one pipe where the bonnet latch was cominglooseand hitting it. I removed the pipe and had the hole welded with a strong piece of aluminium. I refitted the pipe and made sure the jubilee clips were holding the pipes together. I took the car outfor a spin and covered 10 miles no prob. I hit a bypass dropped itdown to 4th gear from 5th and while accelerating it died on me. I waited 30 mins and it did turn over but spluttered and died. Do you thinkI connected the pipe incorrectly? Had to have it towed. Enbarrassing as ..any suggestions appreciated
The pipe was fitted correctly, blue rubber plastic connectors reinforced with jubilee clips. Does the pipe have to connect metal to metal as I tried to make sure they were? Just hope I havent blown the Turbo, it started ok and was trying to go but just failed. Thanks for the reply
