Hi guys I'm new to this can any one give me information on a issue I have. My timing belt snapped on my impreza 1.6 2000 model I took it to a garage and he has changed engine on it before I had a Japanese import and he has fitted a English version but the car is miss firing now and he cannot fix it are the 2 engines compatible to work with each other as my old ecu is still in car.I seem to have a lot of electrical cables spare and the engine seems a lot smaller than the japanese original. I would be very grateful of any info if anyone has any. Thanks in advance
