can anyone advise where I can get a 2 wire o2 sensor from. 2003 uk wrx

mine is a 2002 wrx and is a 4 wire... is yours definitely 2 wire?

Yes definitely 2 wire. I bought a replacement which should have been compatible, fitted it and threaded the cable up through the engine bay, only for the plug to be different. Searched the net cover to cover and can't find a 2 wire. I'm stumped

Hmmm are you sure it is an O2 sensor? not an EGT sensor (Exhaust gas temperature)? is it in the up pipe or the headers (Exhaust manifold)?

Does it look like this?

now you've got me thinking. definitely o2 sensor, but definitely that plug.
maybe I've followed cable to the wrong plug. where in the engine bay should the o2 sensor connect to plug ?

O2 Sensor is in your manifold (Exhaust headers)
EGT Sensor is in your up pipe

Both plug in basically the same place at the top left of the engine bay by the boost solenoid and airbox etc... under the little plastic cover.

just re-checked the engine bay and yep, you've guessed it, I tried to connect it to the wrong plug.......
.......doh.
what an idiot.
I'll need to do it all again tomorrow.

all done. check light still on though. how do i reset it ?
