What heads are these?
You have not been conned
They are V3/4 Sti cams
If you give me numbers of the top of the valves and the casings I will be able to confirm what they are
Cheers
Steve
Drivers side:
Inlet R4IN and 2 R4IN
Exhaust R4EX and 4 R4EX
Passenger side:
Inlet L4IN and 4 L4IN
Exhaust L4EX and 3 L4EX
Rumor has it V3 are slightly more aggressive than V4. However this is almost certainly a myth and there is no difference between them.

Correct guys they are indeed v4 sti heads, just wanted to make sure as I have no idea in these things.
I got close ups of the numbers stamped on the cams.
Do they look in good condition? The other side of them look a bit grubby to me, will they clean up nice? Is it a problem.

Head gasket faces look tatty but should true up with a light skim.
Don't know if the RH head has been skimmed in the past but from your photo's the oil gallery feed on the RH head looks to be more 'exposed' than the LH head.
