Default Rear bumper removal - quick question please

The photos from previous guides on rear bumper removal seem to have been deleted, hence my question on which bolts/nuts to remove (it's a Classic).

It's the ones under the car I'd like to know about. I'm confused because there seem to be 4 on the near side and three (as I expected) on the drivers side.

Do all four on the near side need to come off - the two under the exhaust hanger and then the other 2x 17mm ones?

Thanks

Hi Rob,

Yep four on N/S three on O/S, all need to come out, should all be 17mm.

Then you have the clips on the corners of the wheel arch, you should have two clips on at the bottom of the bumper at the sides and a final one in the middle.

Important thing to remember is to disconnect the number plate light wiring! get all the bolts/clips out first then pull the bumper out an inch or so, disconnect the wires by the boot catch and feed them through the rear panel, then you can take the bumper right off.

Thanks. I'll give it a go and then get ready to see the mess underneath - it's probably going to need some chassis paint.
