Default Tips and advice.

Hi, im going to be installing my new parts to my bugeye next weekend. Vf35, decat dp, decat up-pipe,sti tmic, pink injectors etc..Its my first time attempting something like this although im pretty competent.

I have a friend who is installing the injectors for me when im ready as it looks the most complicated part lol. He could install all of it but its something I really want to give a go myself.

Just wondering if there is a best order to do it. Could I attach my up-pipe to my vf35 and install that way or?. Other advice would be great .

Sorry if im sounding like a complete novice but you got to start somewhere haha.

Thanks

Soak bolts in WD-40 the day before or they could end up snapping off.
Don't rush things and triple check everything before putting back together.

Up-pipe to turbo, then fit turbo then fit down pipe, then injectors and fit intercooler last
Then don't drive on boost until it's mapped or it could be a complete waste of time

***make sure you fit new genuine gaskets to the down pipe and up pipe***

Thanks for the reply . Yeah that's the only thing im worrying about is if I snap a bolt. I will definitely be spraying wd40 on them the night before .

I have a 3 port solenoid which I will ask the mapper to fit. Im doing the work on my drive so I wont drive it until its mapped anyway.

So I am right in thinking I can attach the uppipe to the turbo and slot into place?

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure but I would fit the turbo then fit the up pipe just to be safe than sorry.

Just make sure you fit new gaskets as cheap ones won't last and you will be pissed all that work to do again, do the job properly and do it right the first time
