Undone the fuel line to the manifold today to replace, no key in the ignition and the fuel just pumped out non stop till i disconnected the battery, pretty sure that's not suppose to happen ????.

 

Well the fuel is under 3bar of pressure for a while after the car is turned off. So it will pour out... but it shouldn't be pumped out when there is no power to the pump!

Please tell me your didn't disconnect the battery with fuel gushing out?

 

Found the problem :-), seems the former owner had bypassed the relay with a direct feed, New relay fitted and pipework replaced so all is back to normal :-).
