Don't want to do that, other people have suggested either blanking it off and running without, which doesn't sound good, buying a dump valve that will fit a clasic 2000 or buying an adaptor...any suggestions?

I've yet to encounter any issues in the 6 years I've had one one and blanked off

What's the advantage of blanking it off Rob? I'm guessing you have an aftermarket turbo and remap to suit?

I wonder why there is so much hype about changing it then, I need to replace my turbo and was going to go bigger as there is a hairline crack in it, so getting fmic and decat bits sorted first

What turbo are you running? Some don't like DV blank.

Just standard at the moment until I can upgrade, id rather have something there than have it blanked off, but I don't know what as the recirc now won't fit and I've been warned against having anything other than that

I which case I wouldn't go dump valve delete with the standard VF48 turbo. The sleeve bearing VF turbo's do not last too long with the DV delete unfortunately.

The HKS SSQV dump valve is also a very reliable solidly made dump valve. It holds itself shut under it's own boost, the only unit that does this. So if you have no choice i'd look at one of these unless you can somehow get the recirculating valve to work.

Yes aftermarket turbo. No advantage really just a whole lot of noise of turbo stall
