Hi guys!
Can anyone help?
My car struggles to start first time and is a bit juddery when I accelerate until it warms up. Once it has been started once, it starts first time on subsequent tries. The engine runs fine once warmed up and has plenty of power. I replaced battery as I thought that was the cause but still struggles to fire up first time.
Cheers for any ideas!

Could be a number of things but I would do some searching on here because there a lots of good threads and advice. I would say spark plugs, give it a service if it's not been done, could also be coil pack? Boost solenoid needs a clean? Poor idle could need idle control valve cleaning etc ect the list goes on. Also do an ecu reset and see if any errors are logged

It's very hard to pin point what your problem is on a forum, a couple of months ago I spent well over £300 on new sensors and a new set of plug leads and didn't solve my problem, see my thread below.

I'm sure this is not your issue but goes to show how you can go down the wrong path trying to find out what's wrong. My advice is to take it to a Subaru specialist and get it right first time as you may just save yourself quite a lot of money chasing your tale. Hope you get it sorted soon as I know how frustrating these niggles are.

I would be checking everything that doesn't cost money first. Try checking plug gaps and colour to see if its fueling correctly. I would imagine its not o2 sensor as that's only runs after cold start cycle had finished, ie car is warm enough. Clean the maf with brake cleaner too as I have seen cold start issues due to it being dirty (my mate used wd40 which did not help).
