Wiring for boost gauge 99 uk?
Guys, car wiring is something I've always refused to do, even simple stuff. I had a bad experience many years ago
Time has come to get over it, I've just ordered a cheapo boost gauge, I understand the vacuumed pipe needs to be T'd off, but where would be the simplest place to connect the two electrical wires? I guessing there's gonna be a red and black one.

Quite often there will be an orange wire also, which is an illumination wire. this should be wired to something that only comes on when you turn your lights on as it will dim it at night when you turn the lights on.

Assuming they are for illumination???
Black to earth
Red to any illuminated switch feed (for a classic appears to be White/Yellow)
