Hello there been asking on another forum (PH) where I'm active but need a bit more specialist , anyone know anything about a Sigma Alarm , specifically S34 factory fitted to 2008 Impreza Hatch ?

Basically my remote locking and alarm arm does not work all the time, I have tested the key and bought a separate sigma fob and both work intermittently.

When it is not working I press the lock / unlock button and can see the status LED light up often red sometimes green. If I go to alarm the car with the code on the keypad the keypad just flashes a few times and my inputs do nothing. If I disconnect the battery from the car and reconnect it will work but then after I have started the engine it usually stops working.

Any thoughts please? Can I swap the control module myself ? I don't want to disable the car though ! :-)

I have come across this myself previously , unfortunately some of the codes are different to the S34 system I think.
