failed maf??
I had the MAF go recently on my WRX.
On full throttle you would intermittently lose power after 4k rpm, I thought it was electrical fault until I tried out the diagnostic wires under the dash, then it gave out code 23 which is bad reading from MAF.
Got a replacement off fleabay, fitted it, cleared the faultcode. Been fine since then.
