Default little help please. strange noise from engine bay.

Hello there. Bit of a story this i no lol but stay wiv me if y can :-)
Been tinkering recently and put a few upgrades onto impreza my 1997 uk turbo 2000. Started with a k&n cone to replace a universal one that was fitted. Upgraded to decat up pipe. Down pipe. H&s Centre section & backbox. Equal length manifold.

The car feels more energetic and i have had no probs since doing this however.....

My turbo inlet pipe had a very small split in it right next to turbo I noticed it as I was hearing the turbo spool louder than normal so I stopped driving bought a new one and have just fit it today. I just went out for a spin and although slightly louder induction the car didnt feel any different and felt very pokey. Halfway to petrol station after 10 mins of driving changing up the gears my car suddenley started making a fluttering sound when I change gear. It also feels more like my mrs' focus.
In the petrol station it seemed to idle rough at 600 rpm. Wierd wen it was warmed up and absolutely perfect for 1st 10 mins.

I have checked all pipes etc but im fxxxxd if I can find it.

Any ideas, many thanks
