alarm help
Hi peeps :-)
my 00 impreza.
still has the sigma alarm fitted.
Basically the key pad in glove box is not connected!!
where should it plug in.
some one has wrapped all wire up and shoved behind glove box,
can any one help??
only ask this as want to buy and programme a new fob
as only have 1.

Do you mean the siren 'doesn't' work. just lock the car with the fob and open the door with the key the alarm should go off.
I'd take the control box out of it's metal case and check everything is plugged in. The box has a funny screw head like a hex but with a pin in the middle but a thin flathead screwdriver is enough to unscrew it, 1 screw at the front, the back just slides into a slot.

Unfortunately it could be either the siren or the alarm ecu. I accidentally shorted the siren whilst replacing the backup battery a couple of months ago and the ecu blew (Alarm still worked just no siren or chirps)
