Default Bit of work for the weekend

Hi all,

Going to attempt my first disc and pad change at the weekend, any pit falls I need to know about? seems fairly straight forward I have viewed a couple of youtube clips!!! Here goes

Just make sure you back the handbrake shoes off before you try to take the rear discs off

Sorry being a complete novice could you elaborate on backing off the handbrake shoes? Do you mean leave the hand break off when doing the rears?
