Default Oil Pressure Warning Light

Hi Chaps,

had some defis fitted yesterday, this morning however the OEM oil pressure light switch is stuck on (sometimes flickering) , The oil pressure is fine and oil level fine and car is driving/boosting perfect so almost certainly not an actual pressure problem (believe the light comes on when its too late anyway - under 1 bar)

So my question is, is this likely to be a bad earth or wire contacting somewhere or moisture on a sensor? I did drive through some really heavy rain yesterday, anything I can check?

Thanks for your help

Sounds like a bad ground to the original sensor. How did you connect the new sensor?
