£4500 tops imo.
I paid that much 3 years ago, less miles and had a Simtek ecu already fitted.

ESL do a V3/V4 board now.

I have the v3 type r with the esl ecu fitted. The board is placed inside your existing ecu and allows it to be mapped along with other cool features!

www.enduringsolutions.com

or speak to Andy Stevens on here.

Just been out in mine testing the launch control!

ive read the spec list from here: http://www.type-ra.com/impreza-my98-...-v4-v-limited/
Are these all the correct specs? I read somewhere that these have forged pistons and conrods
The car is the same colour, what kind of power can the box take?

I have a v3 and I wouldn't suggest you go much over 350 bhp as a safe limit, some have run more and got away with it but that depends how you drive it.

350bhp in one of these puppies makes for a pretty quick toy, but be prepared for 20mpg as an average and a lot less if you have a heavy right foot.
