Default Horrible sound on boost. Best way to search for air leak on pipework?

Evening,

My wrx has developed some screechy, whistley sound on boost.

It will not make this sound when sat in neutral revving it. No bubbles with soap solution off any joints on pipework.

Am I correct in saying that the car needs to be moving in gear to get boost.

Whats the best way of testing for leaks? Get car off the ground with wheel spinning? Sounds well dodgy.

Thanks for any help.

Smoke Pro is the best leak detection system, find someone who has it & get them to diagnose it.

Cheers

Fills the inlet & exhaust with smoke under pressure to show where the leaks are

Almost certainly a boost pipe has came off or split. Sounds horrific! Just double check all piping and clamps from the turbo, through the intercooler to the inlet manifold.
