Ive had my first remap from duncan. With a short ram intake. Full decat exhaust including up pipe. 3 port boost solenoid and Walbro 255 fuel pump also up graded ngk's.
I will be looking at bigger turbo and fmic etc in the next 6 months or so. But in the meantime is there any power increase mods i can do that dont need a remap?

 

theres a coolant pipe that runs through your throttlebody, take it off and join it together so it bypasses the TB. should run a bit cooler.

 

What did the BHP come out at

 

Strip weight out of the car

 

Take the AC out.

 

Thanks will look into that. And i had it road mapped so not sure. But he reckoned its up there with the best of them with those mods. Are under drive pulleys worth the money?

 

Looks good but I cant say on anything other than a highly tuned car needing every last ounce of weight saving you would notice a difference

 

i cant see the point in taking the air con out unless its a true track car, if you are going to take it out you may aswell also remove the spare seats, spare wheel, carpet, sound deadening heater matrix, fit a smaller battery and so on.

 

Brakes/suspension and tyres worth more in bhp then any remap/power increase and bolt on mod etc
