Default rotten subframe bugeye

in need of a new subframe for my bugeye as its been seriously lightend due to rust
will a blobeye subframe fit?
by subframe i mean the horseshoe shaped brace which runs behing both wheels and across front

If its the big U frame on the front remove it completely ,i have just removed mine from my blob which might be for sale in very good condition 24k miles only.

I've heard conflicting stories as to wether removing it is a good idea or not.

I must be lucky as both my Bugeyes have solid subframes

Scooby Clinic removed mine to make car lighter. Not sure if it effected anything as my car has always done strange things.

i removed mine few weeks ago while undersealing the rest of the car but not sure weather its in my head but the car feels better so not refitted up to yet, but do plan to fit an underbrace soon.
