Post swirl pot fitting and extras

I am thinking of purchasing a swirl pot but not sure what you need to go with it or how to fit ?
I know I need braided lines with an6/8 fitting but any idea how much and do you splice in the the current fuel line ?
Sorry proper newbie when it comes to the technical side.
Any pics or advice 're fitting / what you need would be greatly appreciated

Are you going to fit in boot or engine bay?

You will need another fuel pump aswell, you aware of this?

Planning on fitting in the boot. For a standard fit Bosch 044 but was thinking of running a Bosch external pump too

Just fit a Walbro in tank, saves some money.
As the Walbro only has to fill the swirl pot without any backpressure on it they will flow more then enough fuel into the pot to make a intank 044 overkill on most applications.

I used the factory hardlines from the boot to the engine bay, as they seemed about the same inner diameter as a AN6 weld bung.
I cut off the first 40 cm of hardline from the tank, on both the feed and return and used hardline to -6AN fittings, and used the factory hardlines from under the rear seat to the engine bay.
In the engine bay I used hardline to AN6 fittings, to keep the length of braided hose I needed to buy as short as possible.
This saves about 20 feet of braided teflon line, and IMHO the factory hardlines will not be a bottleneck on most setups running at 400 WHP or less

I also used 2 passenger side fuel rails (this would be your drivers side) which I welded -6an male adapters to, this saves buying aftermarket fuel rails.

In all fairness the parts list will add up quickly though.
-About 20 feet of -6 or 8AN hose
-A Fuel pressure regulator (2 port for serial, 3 port for a clean parallel setup)
-Y block (as I went parallel instead of the serial stock setup_
-Fuel rails with -6AN or 8AN male fittings
-About 14-16 or so AN6/8 fittings either straight or 90 degree
-4 x 8mm hardline to -6/-8AN fittings (or about 20 feet of extra hose if you want to remove all the factory hardlines)
-2x filter (you could just use one in the engine bay in front of the injectors, and use the in tank filter sock as the pre pump filter, I chose to run a seperate filter before the pump as well as the in tank sock)

I have this pot for sale ATM

Uses -AN6 fittings, but can swap for AN8 if you prefer.
