Default volume adjusable baffle dark ice

Hi everyone
I have had a nur spec and changed too a different 3" system but its still loud on my 2004 sti its been mapped for full decat and other mods.
I have been looking to quieten down my replacement exhaust purely because i work early.
I have found these link below has anyone used them? I think they would restrict flow and eventually do some damage?
For an interim measure and early mornings I am sure this would be benificial but not going to put it on my car without asking for some advice

thanks in advance

If you look on ebay there is a company selling a product that looks like the butterfly on your throttle body, it fits between the backbox and centre section and it can be opened or closed with the pull of a switch.

I've got something like this for my Blitz Nur Spec S and it means I can use the car at 5am without waking the neighbours. It does restrict flow, so I don't use it any more than I have to.

Or depending on your backbox, you could fit a 90 degree bend to point it at the ground. That makes a big difference and won't affect flow.

Dave.

Hi thanks for the replies I had a nur spec R and got a blitz baffle and did dull it down but not nearly enough. Think what I will do is get bung but put baffle near the end of the tip :-)
