Twin scroll on 2.5 hawk STi
Has anyone done this conversion to there UK hawk STi?? My mate has a JDM hawk and I love the spool of the twin scroll(not to mention the sound) But I also love the torque of the 2.5 engine from the UK hawk and that any gear can pull the car along.
Now if I could have the twin scroll set up on a 2.5, what would be needed for this conversion?? Would also love to hear anyone who has done this conversion, and how you rate it/worth doing???

LOL at Lucko. Just put a 2.0 twin scroll engine straight in and enjoy.
The problem is where to find one.

I'd be focusing on forging the 2.5 first

Interested in this myself after converting my bug to a twinscroll back in the day and already missing the sound more than anything.
I'm sure I remember seeing a blob eye on here at some point with a sc46 twinscroll madhammer's maybe??
my hawk is already forged think twinscroll sc42 would make a very impressive road car.

When I had my forged 2.5 built, I ran standard the JDM VF37 for a while before I fitted my LM480.
It spooled well, and produce about 380bhp, but completely ran out of "puff" on the 2.5.
I'll try and find some graphs if relevant/interested?

This is a twinscroll turbo on a 2.1...... imagine what it would do on a 2.5.
250ftlb @ 3k
420ftlb @ 3.5k
540ftlb @ 4k
A 2.5 would probably smash the diff and box to pieces, with the extra torque and spool up.

LOL - nope!! Just could not pass the exhaust gases the 2.5 produced, so totally restricted the flow. Was only ever a stop-gap while the engine was run in and I save up a bit more to buy the LM480

I meant John's set-up on a 2.5.... not your lag-a-tron (in comparison).
