Default 420bhp classic version 2 555 breaking

Hi,

I've decided to break my 555 because I fancy a change and I've got my final part of my motorbike test next week and fancy something with 2 wheels instead.

There is nothing wrong with the car it's just worth more in parts than someone would pay for it whole so it has to be broken

Here is the basic spec:
sti version 2 555 edition Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
2005 sti short motor
ported and polished sti 3 cylinder heads
1.1mm Cosworth tripple layer head gaskets
ARP head studs
Inlet manifold spacers
tubular headers
MD321S turbo
Roger Clark 76mm inlet pipe
STI 3 inlet manifold
740cc injectors
Z32 MAF (provisionally sold to 53)
STI 3 power steering pump (whines so not for sale)
Front mount intercooler
K&N induction kit
Exhaust system
3" downpipe
Apexi power FC mapped by FB tuning
Apexi AVCR
4 pot front brakes
2 pot rear brakes
6 speed gearbox
Exedy pink clutch for 6 speed

Suspension Modifications:
Lowering springs
Whiteline front drop links (provisionally sold to mantazini)
Whiteline 22mm adjustable anti rollbar
Powerflex rear drop links
Poly bushed front end

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Aftermarket 16" x 7" Speedlines
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Carbon fibre WRC mirrors (provisionally sold to mantazini)
Tinted side rear windows
Sparco steering wheel
sti 3 clocks with carbon surround and 7,800rpm redline
centre arm rest

I'd prefer to sell the engine as a long motor with no ancillaries or inlet manifold because it's only covered 1500 to 2000 miles since it was built. I think £1500 is the going rate for a built late 2 litre sti engine with version 3 or 4 heads. The engine can be heard running before removal. Will split if enough interest and the short motor will be £900, ARP studs £100 and the heads £350.

Complete 6 speed gearbox including flywheel, starter motor, cradle, linkage, propshaft and rear diff £1500 (provisionally sold)

Version 2 power FC £400 (sold)

AVCR (silver and blue) £250

MD321S turbo (making 420bhp & 360lbft at 1.6 bar on a 2 litre) £600 (provisionally sold)

Roger Clark motorsport 76mm inlet pipe in red £90

Front mount intercooler (core painted black) £100 (sold)

Nismo 740cc injectors (phase 2) £230 (provisionally sold to beef-on-the-bone)

2 pot rear brakes including calipers, disks and godspeed fitting kit £230 (provisionally sold)

4 pot front calipers including disks and pads £150 (sold)

Whiteline 22mm rear anti roll bar (adjustable) £100 (sold)

Excedy pink clutch for a 6 speed £250 (only covered 1500 to 2000 miles and never launched)

New age coilpacks converted to replace early single coil packs £100

Carbon fibre WRC mirrors £80 (sold)

That's just a few of the bits and prices, let me know what you want and I'll quote for the other parts as I find out what they are worth.

Paul

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'll be selling the wheel, my sister might be having it so I'll have to check. I'll get you a photo of the arm rest though and yes it'll fit a version 3 type R because you have the small cubby hole like I had

I don't know if you have the same rear hubs as mine so I couldn't comment. If it's an R160 rear diff you will need the kit but I can't say for certain. If you don't need the fitting kit you could sell it on again and keep the calipers and disks.
