Im thinking about keeping the engine as well, but I am leaning towards just rebuilding the Jap spec STi 2l that I have. This wont be available for a few months, as I am waiting for my engine crane and stand back from a friend down south. The car came off the road as the turbo was failing, hence the additional turbo purchase. I have dropped the oil from the engine and there was no metal, should still have the pictures, filter is still on the car and can stay that way to confirm. The engine was running fine beforehand and was dyno'd at Area52 about a year before I took off the road, it made 320hp, think I still have the printout.

Car has about 108-109k miles, but there the engine was rebuilt about 40-50k miles ago by Andy Williams, still have the spec sheet.

Based up near Nottingham, but will only be taking those parts off further down the road, dont want water and everything else inside

 

Large chunk of parts have been sold and need to move onto the next stage, so engine will be coming out in the next few weeks. Working engine, was running 320hp (tested at Area52 with dyno chart to prove) Andy Williams bottom end build which is about 40k miles old and a total mileage is just under 110k. Baffled sump was installed by Neil @ Slowboy Racing.

Engine and gearbox are now out of the car, so chassis is available, currently with the doors, boot and bonnet, however these items may go in the next week

Gearbox is now also available (I have changed my plans a bit), this gearbox is DCCD 6 speed, but was rebuilt with Neil @ SlowBoy racing about 5-7k miles ago, will take a picture of the build receipt and upload shortly
