Top Gear

Well, that was fun (ish!)
Glad we went in the wifes Mazda MPS as the weather was s**t! Got there nice and early but there were already lots of cars in the car park. Just before 2 we all waited to be led to the hanger which was about quarter mile away and we were soaked!
The set was pretty basic with just 3 of the 'creations' from past episodes on show. There were a couple of Danish 'supercars' there which are tested in Sunday's episode and also a Fiesta, VW up! and a Dacia Sandero which also feature in it.
The usual Clarkson banter and quite a lot of swearing, most of which won't feature in the final programme!
The 'star' was James Blunt - again! God almighty, surely they could have easily found someone a tad more interesting? I'm sure there are loads of 'celebs' who would love to be on the prog? He was quite amusing however.
If you're not in the first 3 lines of the crowd it's pretty difficult to see all that's going on and you have to resort to watching the monitors.
All together, it was worth the journey and at least you can say "I was at Top Gear" Oh, and they did give us half a polystyrene cup of tea and a bag of crisps!
If you're thinking of applying, remember to apply before EACH series.
