Happy new year everyone. I hope everybody had a great festive period and are all looking forward to the coming year.
So on to the 1st meet of 2014. Thank you to Rob for the latest flyer. Our Christmas meet was a great meet with plenty of cars attending and a great atmosphere, the weather managed to stay dry for us as well, all be it very cold. Please remember though we have plenty of room and warmth in the pub, and food and warm drinks are always available for anyone who is hungry. Let's see if we can start the year as we mean to go on with plenty of cars turning up, including plenty of newbies. We can use it to discuss any upcoming events or shows that anyone is interested in attending with the club.
The family owned pub offers fresh home prepared food hot & cold (food is served from 12 - 2pm) as well as a nice children friendly area for all the mini Esoc members.

Now the boring part. Please dont act in any form of stupidity i.e testing your exhaust loudness, donuts, burnouts etc. Any one caught or been reported to acting in this manner will be dealt with in certain ways which can lead to being asked to leave the venue. SN accepts no responsibilty for anyones driving style.

I love the car and don't want to get rid
but it's just me , once iv had what iv wanted I get rid
but I think I'm making a big mistake by letting this go
but it's going to a nice lad who's going to treat it well and make it even better than it is

Unfortunately I'm going to miss this one as it's my birthday (of 'Biblical' proportions!) and the family are taking me away for the weekend (whether they'll bring me back as well, is another thing)
So, weather permitting, I'll see you in Feb.
Might be an idea to start thinking about what meets/shows the group fancies attending this year as the national ones will need some organisation.

Not really Long weekend at Centre Parcs in Suffolk. I'm not a one for celebrating birthdays - at my age they just mean another year closer to death! At least they're not threatening (yet!) to take away 440bhp Scoob and replace it with 1hp mobility scooter I'd be a f***ing menace on one of those

Congratulations on the milestone birthday, I'm sure the menacing scooter is years away yet!
I'm sure he will make another appearanc. You never know, by February's meet I may even be trusted on my own with him

Final weekend on clearing out my dad's place before the exchange of contracts so I'm busy this weekend! Fingers crossed I and monster will make Feb! But that depends on how the leg feels thoe haha
