Depends what your goal is ?
If your looking for 400 + bhp then full 3" decat milltek would be the way to go.
Cons.... Cost
Mot fail
If pulled your in the sh#t
To use the decat to full potential you will need to upgrade the turbo and another map to suit.
Pros...... Will sound better if that's your thing ?
I've done all this on my last impreza and wished I hadn't tbh.
I have the ppp sti with the standard Prodrive system on my current sti and will be looking to up the power to 360 ish max with a vf43 or vf48 turbo.
I will keep the Prodrive system and standard air box and maybe upgrade the injectors cos I'm pretty sure they max out at about 350.
All the rest of my money will be spent on suspension and brakes and in my experience that's what makes a bloody fast road car.

Great advice, doesn't matter how much power you have if you can't corner and you can't stop!

Decat and stick a quieter (prodrive) box on?

Mot and getting pulled over would be the remaining cons

Id stick to 2.5inch at your power level though.

Cheers, just a bit of open thinking, will plan turbo/exhaust upgrade next year.
Just ordered set of coil-overs, brakes already sorted, front anyway
Duncan paid me a visit and now got LC/AL and few more crackles and pops, not to much
Just need the ***** to try the LC!
