Default Need some help / advice.

Guys need some help. Once my car is warm, oil and water wise i have a loud screaming noise when i turn right. At first i though power steering pump/belt but that was all fine, also when i turn left there is no noise what so ever?

I had both front weels off at the wkend and there was nothing out of place, damaged or anything that needed replacing or so i think. Went for a drive later on in the day and the same noise was still coming on but again only when i turn right. The sound i a sqeaking noise.

Any ideas - could it be my anti roll bar??

Wheel bearing? They're known to squeal aren't they? Did you do the tug/rock test with the wheels on whilst lifted up?

Could it be your transfer box? as your running different profile tyres front to rear.

Dan - yea i did the tug test and there was no play so i assume bearings are ok.

Paul - I have matching profile on all 4 tyres now so can't see it being the transfer box either.

Might have to get it up on a ramp and get under it. when i had the left wheel off the only thing i thought that may need replaing were the bushes and possibly the anti roll bar as they looking a bit old, worn and very slightly perished.

Seems strange that a worn bush would scream though. Normally it would be more of a knocking.

I had this occur twice, once when one of my locking rings came loose on my coil overs and allowed the wheel to come in contact with my brake hose bracket. Check the inside of the wheel rim to make sure nothing is making contact.

The other was a wheel bearing even though it showed no signs of play, changed it and the problem went.

Might be worth checking the front pads as well in case one of the screamers is touching the disc.
