Default CEL Code Reader

Anyone got a code reader I can use/borrow to check why my CEL light has come on.
Cheers.

Check the threads on here or Google. Two plugs under the dash can be connected then turn on the ignition, BUT DO NOT START THE CAR . The ecl will flash.
Eg. 2 times fast then pause then 4 times slow. That would be 24 which is maf sensor I think lol
As i said though check on here for a more technical post lol

Thanks to DantheMan2605 for popping round on his way home from work and pulled code P0171 (Too lean bank 1)
Spoke to Daren (RaceDynamix) and advised not to clear and is to look at this tomorrow.

Great support from both Dan and Darren.

Hope it is something simple!
Did have a vacuum pipe off and refitted this may have been the cause, will find out tomorrow.

Duncan has been and trimmed the fuel bit more and was an historic code that had cleared, which seemed to be down to the vacuum pipe that was off and due to it being high level code kept the light on.
Even my neighbour came out when he heard the car start and reved up!
Thanks Ken.

Thanks to Duncan for the service and support, top man.

Def a BIG smile!
Took the car to work today and gave it a good run, all seems ok.
Def lot smother pickup and the way the power is delivered can fell the NPS cutting the cams, waiting for main dealer for price and availability, unless anyone know where else I can get one.

May do the fuel pump this weekend if dry and can fit in with other plans, F1 this weekend so will be up most nights!!
