Anybody have a grinder and ramps
Need little help, fitted my 3 bolt headers, and they rub slightly on the chassis
Need to cut a half moon or line across the metal that is catching
Ill come to you, and will sort you out something
Looking at direction frayz, but don't know where in Essex he's at
I'm by Rainham, Essex

Hello mate. Call Mike at Cyclone Motorsport 01268 764321. He is based in Wickford so not far. Just say Jason (JD) sent you. Or my good friends at Atspeed Racing in Rayleigh. I have been there this morning and they are not too busy. 01268 773377. Ask for Colin or Alan. They build race cars so this will be a doodle.
Hope this helps,
J

I do but not to put your car in.
I'd do it outside, it's no issue for me. I built my whole car outside at the time.
Can you confirm exactly wha you need to do? Do you have photos? Is its just relieving the front U frame for some clearance as the headers expand?
If so the that's very straight forward.
Failing that, I'm free in the mornings next week if that suits.

Yeah, exactly as I thought.
I'd advise you not remove the frame. It's there as crash protection and helps to direct the engine under the passenger compartment in a front on collision.
As yours is a road car, I'd leave it in place.
Its pretty common for GT Spec style headers to foul there, especially as they grow when hot. I can trim it for you and you can Hammerite the bare metal afterwards.
Any good?
