Default servicing/maintenance/tuning

As the title suggests, any recommendations for me?

I am looking for somewhere local to look after my new car - has been serviced by Extreme Scoobies by the previous owner - still the best bet?

Since the exhaust has been changed from one after market to another after mapping, but before I bought it, should I remap? Where's the closest person with a good rep? (JGM far?)

Anyone had the problem with code P0545 because the EGT sensor has been removed? Tried the resistor fix but the newage ECU's don't always take to it and is still throwing the code.

Extreme scoobies I've only heard good things, people seem to recommend fb tuning on here, I've not used him but tbh my brother in law is an excellent mechanic so I just use him, I don't believe in this specialist attitude, a good mechanic will know the car and know what to look for.

FBTuning FTW There aren't any Subaru specialists worthy of mention in Essex tbh...plenty of pretenders though ready to rape your wallet

I use a mobile mechanic to do my 'servicing', any decent mechanic is able to carry out a service to an engine, whether it has a turbo or not.

For specialist works, I would always use a specialist, but for the above, any reputable mechanic that knows how cars work is the way I would go.

If you want to use my mobile mechanic, I can pm you his number, he is very reasonable and obviously comes to you, so saves you trying to work out how to get the car to and from a garage (he covers Hadleigh as well )

He has a GREAT reputaion for quality workmanship BUT he does take his time. minor engine swaps can take years.

Hahaha,

I've heard spark plugs could take weeks too!
Fully booked for roof vents at the moment though, which is amusing considering all they will do at the moment is make the occupants rather wet. Lol
