Not live on bbc, think they only have a dozen live races. Sky coverage does look good, just hope commentary team for the race is different to those commenting during practice

May be different for the race, was anthony davidson and some other guy (whose name i cant remember) doing live commentary on practice. Ted kravitz was doing his normal pit lane talking and then brundle was doing pit walk around/chatting with damon hill and the sky fella

Watched the qualifying and even though I wanted to stick with the BBC, the sky coverage was very good.
During the qualifying with Brundle commentating and Ted Kravitz in the pits it was easy to forget that it wasn't the BBC coverage. I miss Coulthard but I think Croft is pretty good.
Enjoy the analysis bit when they use the massive touch screen TV.
The fact I can use my iPad at the same time to give track info and different camera angles sounds like it could be fun. Haven't tried it yet.

Like the fact that Sky have a dedicated channel too. So the qualifying is repeated several times throughout the day so you don't have to worry about missing it.
All of qualifying and the entire race will be uninterrupted.

Just had a look at the sky sports app and the new F1 section and it looks great.
You can select the live stream that is running on the TV or you can select all the timing data, select from various on board cameras, an on board mix or driver tracker etc. Can't wait for the race tomorrow.

mmm, so how much was button sandbagging then?
i've seen the printouts of the laps times, last two laps he backed off, rest of them are metronomic so he wasn't pushing flat out at any point in the race.
