Default Wheel Re-spray

Afternoon all, anyone had any experience with having their alloy wheels re-sprayed? I have noticed some bubbling appearing around the centre caps. Just wondered how much i'd be looking at to have it dealt with or if a re-spray wold be more economical in the long run..?

It all depends who does it to be honest.they seem to charge between 40/60 a wheel.a lot of mobile places only do the face of the wheel. I had the wheels on my old car refurbed, but this was done on an exchange basis, gave him my corroded old crappy ones an he put my tyres on some shiny newly refurbed ones all for 220!!

Yeah these will come up well when buffed and have bugger all curb marks but have noticed the gold is fading behind the face (on the inner part of the wheel) and some bubbles are appearing which may chip in time so not sure if someone can sand off then colour match the troublesome area!

I believe quite a few have used JP polishing in Canvey, and a full refurb of a wheel costs around £50 for an 18"

I will be getting mine done before the year is out by them.

I have used JP several times, always been pleased with the service and result.

I have used these guys in Billericay http://www.paintituk.com/

They did an excellent job on mine, priced depending on size. They also offer same day

You can do it yourself if you confident with an angle grinded and a bit of filler.
