Default Which garage do you use

Hi all was wondering which garages in Essex you use. I may have the beginnings of head gasket failure and will need to get it sorted but didnt want to travel a too far to get it sorted.

Thanks

With the exception of Extreme, I can't recommend a specialist in Essex worth spending money with to get your HG done. I've wasted a fair bit of money on pretenders but your best and closest specialist is FB Tuning in Maidenhead

Worth every bit of the hour or so it takes to get there from Chelmsford but at least you have Piece of mind that the jobs being priced fairly, undertaken promptly and properly in clean tidy premises Nothing worse than getting a fanboy recommendation and turning up at Steptoes yard !

Give Rich a call, you'll be well impressed

I would recommend either Xtremescoobies or Mocom Racing. What makes you think you have headgasket failure mate? may be a good idea to get a local garage to carry out a sniffer test before jumpimg to the most expensive conclusion

I don't trust anyone in Essex. I do all work myself. To be perfectly honest you don't even seed a subaru "so called" specialist. A subaru engine is no different in function to any other.

Too many of these supposed subaru tuners do a poor job in a slack timeframe and charge the earth for the service.

From what I know of Paul at Extreme Scoobies he come across as a nice enough chap and plenty of guys here recommend him.

Rich @ FB tuning is a newly established business and is keen to do a good job at a good price and make a good impression.

If I were you, I'd do a search on the companies you may intend to use and have a read.

Far too many horror stories I'm afraid mate.

Rich at FB Tuning may not be in Essex but he will do a great job at a fair price - call him on 07595 493581 to discuss.

cheap is approximately equal to someone cutting corners or not doing the job properly which is directly related to a higher state of broken engineness.

buy cheap, buy twice

Cheap and Subaru ownership should never be used in the same sentence.

If you want cheap motoring then get a crappy fiesta or something like that, IMO
