Default Rusty Exhaust

My STI exhaust is rusty... looks YUK!! Its not the pipe that comes out the back, but its the underside of the box before the pipe ... hopefully you can understand what im trying to explain?

O wow - Looks like I need to car school!!

Also ... Im in need of a car cleaning/polisher person - any recomendations??

It's steel (iron + carbon) it will rust. Don't worry about it.

Subaru exhaust systems tend to last for 8-10 years.

Can it be painted to nice shinny silver like the rest or shall I just invest in a bigger exhaust with no cats in it??

cheapest bet would be to get some black or silver heat proof paint, mask off the tailpipe and give it a couple of coats just to tidy it up

As for cleaning give v4jdmsti a pm (theres a post thanking him in car care section i think) his rather handy when it comes to car cleaning,and local

Rub down, mask up, hang, spray with VHT Paint 3-4 cans does enough to ensure good coverage
