Why not do it yourself, its piece of **** to do.
My old xbox rrod, but it would only last a week before it needed done again.
Games like Call of Duty was just killing the xbox. So I ended up in buying a new jasper xbox

As slipstream says - it's not that hard to do, just diddly. I would also advise changing the fans for a talismoon whisper, not much quieter but it's a lot better (claimEd to be 58% more efficient)

Now I'm using my laptop and not the Ipod

My brother gave me his 360 and bought an Elite because he was fed up with it keep getting RROD.

After a bit of digging, my xbox looks like this:

Mods:

X-Clamp mod
Talismoon Whisper fan with blue LEDS
Talismoon crystal fan duct
Talismoon X-ray window

Since fitting the new fans my Xbox hasn't missed a beat and I've completed Saw and Assassins Creed 2 so far and now onto Splinter Cell Rogue agent (getting phsyc'd up for the New splinter Cell)

I know very little about this kinda stuff; I'm guessing you can just replace the fans for more efficient and quieter cooling that also makes the console run cooler and not hang?...where can I get these fans from?

The Talismoon Whisper fans are regarded the best after market product for the 360 mate.
You can choose to have blue, red or green LEDs

Costs around £14 including postage and readily available from Ebay.

As mentioned, since fitting the fans I've had no problems what so ever though they're not much quieter than the standard fans
